Double signed first edition (print number not stated) hardcover copy of At the Eye of the Storm: James Watt & The Environmentalists by Ron Arnold (Regnery Gateway, 1982). Signed by both James Watt and Ron Arnold on front free endpaper. Biography of James Watt and his tireless crusade to preserve national parks and wildlife against opposing forces, political, economic and beyond. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with some mild rubbing/scuffing to faces and slight shelf wear around the edges. Torn area to bottom right corner of back cover. Boards are straight and clean but with corners slightly bumped. Binding material is faintly visible in gutter of title page, but spine is fairly straight and binding remains strong on the whole. Previous owner’s embossed personal library stamp on front endpaper, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
