First edition, early (not numbered) printing hardcover copy of Sun Up: Tales of the Cow Camps by Will James (Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1931). With illustrations throughout by the author. Western nonfiction memoir that reads like fiction. Moderate rubbing/scuffing to covers and shelf wear around the edges. Corners bumped. Spotty discoloration towards top left corner of front cover. Small semicircle stain to bottom edge of front cover. A few instances of mildly split binding though spine is straight and binding remains fairly strong on the whole. Tanning pages with rubbing to bottom outer fore corner of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
