SARD Mk-21 US Navy 7x50 Binocular w/Case

Hard to believe the condition of this set that is at least 75 years old! Has to be one of the most iconic binoculars of that Unnecessary War (as Pat Buchanan called it). Cosmetically in great shape. Mechanically near perfect. And optically speaking about as good as it gets as they have just been serviced by me, an advanced collector-hobbiest. Views are bright, clear and sharp. This set has blue coated optics. About half of all the sets I've handled were uncoated, so these are a bit brighter. The US began coating glass in 1943. Lots of the uncoated ones were subsequently upgraded. Made if Flushing, NY. My old neighborhood! Believe the original factory building still stands. Both Individual Focus (IF) EPs (Eye Pieces) cleaned and lubed. You can now adjust focus with those batwing eye cups pressed against your orbs. Yellow two position snap out filters are intact. Lots come missing one or both. Case WITH strap(!) in truly remarkable shape!!! Don't miss this fully functional museum piece.
