A really nice little bin probably from the 1950s. Coated, so we know it is post war and it shows peeling of the paint so typical of the era where the alloy readily sheds its coating. I've seen this with well known brands from that time period. You could easily touch it up with black oil based enamel and save $$.
These have Bak-4 high index prisms and now, after a careful internal cleaning, put up fantastic views. Focuser and right diopter also worked on and lubed with synthetic damping grease that should last a lifetime. Another cleaning will be needed in a decade, or two, depending on use. ALL such vintage binoculars require such routine maintenance!
Comes in an aftermarket case with a set of up-cycled ocular caps included to ward off dust when they are left out on a shelf ready for use. I added the strong bootlace strap with which to carry the optic. Its original leather one had dry rotted.
This set also has a bit of FC, or Field Curvature, that enhances the already 3D quality.
