I bought this recently to play with my 30 lb pup, but he has a small mouth and it's too big for him to really enjoy tugging with. He barely touched it, so there's a lot of life left in it still!
Also, Earth Rated recommends this toy for "small to medium sized" dogs between 15-45 lbs, but I think it should be recommended more for dogs 30-60 lbs due to it's thickness and weight. If your dog has a large, strong jaw, it should be well suited for him/her.
