For sale is a vintage 1988 Sony Video8 Sports Handycam, model CCD-SP7.
The camcorder is in good cosmetic shape, and while everything else does work (the tape mechanism needs some coaxing), it will not output video, as you will get static on the viewfinder, as you can see in the pictures; this can be attributed to the capacitors having gone bad due to the age of the unit (35+ years old) - I am selling this as is, so you can use it for parts or repair. Your call. You will be getting a Sony NP-55 battery and a charger with this unit.
