RARE Kenner Rose Petal Place Rag-doll w/ Hand-painted Prototype Face 1980s READ

Kenner made prototypes for a collection of RPP Rag-dolls similar to SSC, but they were never produced. The *original* doll had smaller features painted on the face, so the artist remade cloth faces for all the dolls which were pinned overtop the original dolls for the photoshoot. The doll listed is a custom, hand-sewn doll from an extremely talented doll artist who carefully replicated the original doll and then incorporated the actual original mockup face fabric into the design. Basically the entire doll is a reproduction of the prototype *except* the face which is 100% original. I also have the original prototype doll which is 100% vintage… it has a different face w/ smaller features. Doll measures approximately 16” tall. Each component was designed separately so the clothes come off in layers. Exquisite details like the velvet slippers and the crystal on her flower hat. It’s been stored art-museum style and never played with. Sold “as-is,” condition = used, NO RETURNS accepted.
