A Bit of History:
On Heisey glass, "Yeoman" does not stand for anything—it is the name of a specific pattern (pattern #1184). The A.H. Heisey & Co. produced glass from 1896 to 1957 and gave many of their different designs distinct pattern names, such as Plantation, Ridgeleigh, and Yeoman.
The Yeoman pattern is often found with a "diamond optic" design, where the glass has a repeating diamond-shaped texture.
The pattern was produced from as early as 1913 until the factory closed in 1957.
