Vintage 1940's Swivodex inkwell manufactured by Zephyr American. Made from black anything glass with (I believe) Bakelite insert. The glass is super shiny and looks amazing. No chips or cracks. Doesn't show any visible signs of having been used. Very light wear. Excellent, collector quality condition. In the photos of the bottom of the base, there is a little roughness around the inside edge. It is an effect of the molding and not chips. Base measures
About 4" square and it stands about 4" tall when the inkwell is upright
