These are 6 Vintage Royal China "Good Morning" Rooster Dinner Plates. They feature a distinctive black and gold rooster in a mid-century modern atomic design. This pattern was initially produced in 1958. I’m not sure when it was discontinued.

These plates are made by Royal China, a company known for its ironstone dinnerware. "Ironstone" is a specific type of durable earthenware developed in 19th-century England and known for its dense and heavy quality that mimics porcelain but is more resilient.

These plates are in very good vintage condition. There are no chips. There are some light utensil marks and scuffs here and there. They are not egregious. They measure 10” in diameter.

The Royal China Co manufactured dinnerware in Sebring, OH from 1934 to 1986. Beginning 1969, the company had changing and various owners, including the Jeanette Glass Co and Coca-Cola. They produced a large variety of dinnerware patterns (over 1400) through the 1960s and 1970s.
