Beautiful cottagecore vintage decor
The Aynsley bone china bell in this collection shows the influence of the late 17th-century Japanese master potter, Kakiemon. Probably the best-known Japanese porcelain artist outside his own country, Kakiemon's style was distinctive in its use of soft shades of blue and green, orange-red and translucent yellow. His delicate designs never covered the entire surface of the piece - in this case allowing a lovely contrast with the pure white of the Aynsley china. The floral and butterfly motif is complemented by graceful, low relief trim around the bell's top and rim.
