Gorgeous sterling silver marcasite ring. Marcasite is a natural gemstone inside of the pyrite family. The shank is split and then joins shortly afterwards. All stones are snugly set, they're arranged in one halo layer along the perimeter. Inner shank is marked as sterling, tested positive via chemical testing. Signed THEDA on the interior steling. The trademark was owned by Ideal Jewelry Mfg. Co., incorporated in 1921 and located at 21 Eddy Street, Providence, RI. The company's craftsmen used sterling silver, marcasite, rhodium plating, 12K gold, cultured pearl, amethyst, jade, topaz and rhinestones.
