VINTAGE THAI SILVER TONE MONEY CLIP AN ELEPHANT DESIGN

This elegant, intricately designed, silver tone money clip was a gift which accompanied a purchase at a jewelry store in Bangkok, Thailand in the early 1970s while on assignment in Asia during the Vietnam war. The front of the money clip features a three-elephant design along with some scroll work. The three-elephant design is based on the three-elephant sculpture found at the Erwan Museum just outside of Bangkok. The name JULIE’S GEMS can be seen on the back along with an embossed gemstone in silver tone metal. The Bangkok address and telephone number or also found on the back under the name JULIE’S GEMS. It is used and has a few scratches and some patina on the underside which is not readily seen. It measures 2 ¾ quarter inches long by ¾ inches wide. After testing, we believe it to be silver plated. It’s a perfect choice for anyone desiring Asian collectibles, Asian art, or Thailand souvenirs. It is also a real conversation piece. (SEE PHOTOS)
