Relatively quiet, my cats like them, super simple design, all good. The ONE thing, though, that I weirdly really like is this: when you need to refill it, you just pick up the water tank, carry it wherever you've gotta go to fill it (for me, the filtered water spigot in the kitchen), and then carry the full thing back to the unit and slide it back onto it. No tools, no water hookup, you don't even have to shut off the unit/pump, nothing has to come apart. Just haul the thing, it holds a fair amount of water, and for me, I maybe fill it a little more than once a week. Because...I like having this water a few rooms away from my kitchen, and you just need somewhere with an outlet.
