Vintage Chicago Hardware Foundry #8 cast iron deep skillet/chicken fryer with the hammered pattern and matching cover. Excellent restored condition. Manufactured circa 1940s. Measures 11 1/4 inches wide at the spouts and 3 1/8 inches tall. The cooking surface measures 8 1/4 inches across. It is not warped but will spin when the handle is tapped on the side if it is on a glass surface. No cracks. The bottom surface is excellent with crisp, clear numbers. The interior cooking surface is nice and smooth with typical marks from age and use. The matching cover is also in excellent condition with no cracks.
