This is a yanagiba sakimaru knife specially designed for Japanese cuisine, looks very aggressive and adopt single steel structure, which is called honyaki in Japan. I don't know much about Japanese knives, but this knife seems to have been repaired. The blade body is very thin and slender, which should be caused by restoration. honyaki's knives seem to be expensive, basically more than $1,000, suitable for collectors, this knife should have a long history, because the current masamoto seems to be a little different from it, in short, what you see is what you get
