One of the many beauties of New Mexico is its rich Native American heritage. That culture, art, and craftsmanship is still a large part of New Mexico today. This pendant of sterling silver with a white turquoise stone in its center is absolutely beautiful. This piece was made by Navajo artist Chimney Butte. These pieces are handmade and branded. I purchased this piece at a gem and mineral show in northern New Mexico a few years back for $200 and I was lucky to be able to get it. Chimney Butte’s pieces are sought after and valuable. If you are a collector, this is a well worth the listing.
