vintage artist signed Hototo Katchina Doll

Artist signed Hototo Kachina. First name is Evan but can't make out the last. 13 1/4" from foot to the top of the wood mask. 17 1/4" from the bottom of the wood base to the tip of the top feather. Wood carved. He is wearing hand painted leather clothing. Rabbit fur trim. Holding feathers in his hands. Unsure of just how old he might be but old enough to be vintage, for sure. He has a couple minor condition issues. There is a missing bead? on his belt and foot trim. some of the feathers are ruffled and the center feather on the headpiece appears to have been glued. The Hototo Kachina is an exceptionally unique doll in that it is held in high regards for two positions. It is believed to be responsible for all food preparation, and is also a well-recognized war Kachina. It is often depicted posing with weapons, feathers, or both, and is decorated with a traditional feather headdress for war Kachina.
