Beautiful bleached mahogany wood dresser/sideboard/entry table that is sure to bring a sense of calmness to any space.
Manufactured originally by Link-Taylor, this pre-1987 piece has been stripped and sanded to bring out the natural mahogany woodgrain along the top, sides, and base. These areas were then treated to subdue the orange tones of the wood and lighten them for a more whitewashed feel. To seal in the look, two coats of General Finishes flat matte topcoat were applied.
Dovetail drawers were painted in the soft, creamy color "haze" by Behr and stenciled using Waverly chalk paint in the color "truffle." For a more finished look, the sides and top rims of all 9 drawers were painted as well. Interiors have been deep cleaned and treated with beeswax/orange oil to re-hydrate the wood, make drawers glide smoothly, and to provide a very subtle refreshing orange scent.
Custom wood knobs add an extra special touch.
