Better Homes & Gardens Magazine March 1944 VTG Homemaking Rockabilly Americana

This is a Better Homes & Gardens Magazine from March 1944. It features ads from Zenith, Chevrolet cars and Chesterfield cigarettes. These old magazines are like looking into a Time Machine from the 1940s. This one was printed during the end of WW2.
What I really love about them are all of the references to the war, information and articles relating to supporting the war effort. There are articles about growing your own gardens (as many people were encourage to grow their own victory gardens during the war) and even fixing household items and making them last longer which I can imagine was important back then since many households were struggling financially at the time. Also homemaking hints and tips. I personally really love that the articles are actually useful and not just a bunch of celebrity gossip or articles promoting/trying to get you to buy things. The modern day Better Homes and Gardens is barely readable imo xD So the articles are really a breath of fresh air when magazines
