Ornate Antique Victorian Style Jewelry or Hat Pin Box. Has stamp on bottom "Victor Silver Co. Quadruple Plate" Quadruple plating was a popular technique in the late 1800's, in which 4x as much sterling was used to electroplate the object. These items were popular, more affordable alternative to sterling silver. The Victor Silver Company existed between 1872 and 1912. This is an old antique. Condition commensurates with age. Discoloration and the lid has a lot of wiggle but stays in place. 4" Long x 2.75" Wide x 1" Deep
