This vintage JBL SA-660 amplifier powers on and outputs sound but requires restoration.
Issues include: two broken/missing front panel switch knobs, a faulty power switch that won’t turn off, heavily oxidized/dirty jacks and controls causing crackling, a missing speaker terminal cap, some missing screws, and cosmetic scratches. Internals are intact but dirty; a full recap is likely needed.
A solid project for experienced techs, offering a rewarding opportunity to revive a classic piece of audio history.
