William Thomas Walsh, Saint Peter the Apostle (1959) pbk Very Good Condition

A well-written historical novel about the life of Saint Peter, the Galilean fisherman. Walsh, a devout Catholic, used artistic license to imagine scenes and invent dialogue, but he never strays from Catholic orthodoxy in his presentation of Peter. Originally published in 1948 to critical acclaim, it was selected by the Spiritual Book Club and later published in an Image paperback edition by Doubleday. This copy is remarkably clean and new given its age! There is no visible wear on the covers. The binding is tight, and the pages are clean and unmarked. Smoke-free home.
