Steeper has detachable lid for easier cleaning and drying. Tea and water goes in steeper to steep tea then when put on a tumbler or cup will dispense tea from the bottom and keeps tea out of cup. (See photo of demonstration). Comes with plastic plate to sit on for less mess. Color clear and teal. BPA free. Hand wash only. In great gently used condition.
