Antique late Art Nouveau early Art Deco transitional Newel Post lamp. Cast spelter metal with a Czech End of Day Glass or Spatter Glass shade is 4” diameter. The open area is a 3.25" size. The lamp stands over 19 inches in height. In its day the lamp would have had a bronzed patina however it is worn off and the underneath is the spelter metal base. And No cracks chips etc. Late 20th century in the style of A. Moreau. FYI .. a newel post lamp, used in Victorian and Edwardian homes to light the staircase to avoid falls and other misadventures.
