A large modernist etching of a mother and her two daughters by Houston, Texas artist Yu Cha Pak, 1991. Reminiscent of Fernando Botero's work, the etching is titled Mother and Children and is number 6 out of an edition of 200. The piece is in great condition, mild wear to frame. Etching in mat measures 18”T X14”W, frame measures 25”T X21”W.
The piece is an excellent preowned condition with limited wear to the frame. It is ready to hang.
About the Artist: YuCha Pak
Yu Cha Pak was born in Korea and studied Classical Oriental Art in Seoul. After immigrating to the United States she continued her studies at the Florida Institute of Technology, receiving a degree in Fine Art. She also studied printmaking at the Art Students League in NYC and the Glassell School in Houston.
Her artwork has been accepted into numerous festivals & shows including several national juried exhibitions. Her honors include a First Place Prize in Watercolor in a New York city show curated by the Whitney Museum
